HI I am a very new Skydemon user (just purchased it about an hour ago) so I'm probably posting this in the wrong place for which I apologise.
I've downloaded the Mac version as I run an 27" iMac on Mavericks OSX 10.9.5. The application has installed ok but I can't download charts. Having selected France and the UK it crashes part way through the download.
Any suggestions?

Steve, I have a chap who is unable to "Download All" for a country or a specified third party product from within the plates window.
Have you encountered this problem before?

OK, I'll investigate.
My default browser on OS X is Safari which is probably why I didn't notice this.

I am using the Mac version and really it works fine, no problems at all now. Even the link with GoogleMaps works well but a message appears as if it should not work ... strange but really not a problem.
Congratulations for your work Steve, I am almost not using at all Parallels.
Guillermo
Sorry, but after my optimistic post ... I had problems when looking with GoogleMaps, the map was empty and afterwords it crashed ...
I found the problem, it works correctly with Safari as default browser, the problem appear using Chrome as default browser

Hi
In case anyone else has the problem with creating new aircraft, please grab a blank .aircraft file from the link below and drop it in your Documents/SkyDemon/Aircraft folder.
Re-open SkyDemon, then instead of pressing New Aircraft, select the 'Default' one that you've just dropped there.
Wolfgang has confirmed that this worked for him.

Steve

Ok, I'm not sure why this is happening, but it does actually work, but still pops the error message. I guess it's because the 'Windows' bit can't see that the URL opened correctly on the Mac. So right-click the chart, do 'view on map' and click OK to the box that pops up.
If you look in your default web browser on the Mac, you should see that Google Maps is open with the correct view.

I'll look at that too. I probably need to register a HTML handler in the same way I did for PDF files.
